RP is FAR too poker based - AKillerFawn - 04-09-2024

I'm not saying turn down the level of RP you get with poker, but when I spend nearly $200 in real money at craps and finally hit boxcar sixes at 30 to 1, it should pay off as much if not more as winning a poker game. Every roll at craps is about $4 in real money. Every hand of high roller poker is about $5 in real money. Why is the scale tipped so far towards poker over every other game?

It's not fair to have that level of excitement and that rush of winning when you finally hit snake eyes 30 to one that you've been betting 80,000 on every roll and get chicken feed compared to placing second in a poker game. Why can't the RP be based upon money bet instead of whatever system is in play now? If you luck up and win a poker game you can jump three global levels as compared to grinding natty nines at the baccarat and blackjack table all night.

Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way. And if so c'est la vie mon cheri. But it really does feel like there's an unfair advantage RP wise in the poker department and I would like that to be reconsidered. A lot of people are grinding it out on other games and they get CRUMBS compared to poker players.

Agreed. Ive taken time away from casino, its far too grindy to just get vip1, took me28 days in march to get 20k rp. It says any reasonably seasoned player should get 20k, but i work for a living and think poker is dull as ferk. After getting vip1 its another 30k rp to get to vip2. No. Just no, eff off game. Takes me a month to scrape 20k. If the edge wasnt so severe my ass would be in bj or roulette, but 14 rp at 2k a hand that ive got bot all chance of winning because the dealer plops a 5 down on 16 on almost every chance, makes me wanna hurl my gamepad thru the effing tv...

It's got to the point now where I absolutely hate the beginning of each month knowing I have to go through Groundhog Day again doing VIP 1, 2 and 3.
Personally I think if DL did the VIP on logging in everyday more players would continue to play the game.
At the moment If a player logs into the game 7 days straight they automatically qualify for VIP 1 so it would make the game better if we logged in for a further 7 days straight and we'd qualify for VIP 2 and the same again for VIP 3 instead of this long boring grind each month getting all 3 circles.
I like playing Jacks or higher or Keno but I don't play much of them because I know I'd never get my VIP 1, 2 and 3 done in time.

Exactly. It doesn't matter how much money you spend, they FORCE you to play poker to get into VIP and HR. And I love baccarat in HR, but grinding it out in poker for days is totally lame. I'm not saying they should lower the RP for poker, but they should make it a little higher for everything else, especially since we're spending the same amount if not more money on other games.

I used to grind it out in bingo because bingo is the only game we get RP even when we lose but gave up with that when DL favor the top 10 in the leaderboard all the time. I'm sick to death seeing the same players winning.

It does seem like poker gets all the attention, especially when other games like craps can be just as thrilling. Hitting those big wins should definitely feel more rewarding, especially given the real money you're putting down.In case you're still hunting for this info, I'd also suggest checking out these Essential Strategies and Tips for Poker. It might not fix the imbalance, but it could give you an edge in those poker games. It'd be great if the RP system considered the money bet across all games equally. You're definitely not alone in feeling this way. Let's hope they reconsider and make it fairer for everyone grinding it out at the tables.

Poker is my favorite game and I totally agree. I hit tier 40 in poker in virtually no time, and just feel like it takes so much more time to get there in any other game. I really want the jester outfit from Big 6 too, that seems forever away.

The jester outfit was so hard for me to get that when I got it I ended up getting a leaderboard jacket for the season and wasn't even trying.
