Poker/Free daily poker - PowerSlave - 01-14-2024

New forum, new chance to highlight how much the poker/FDP task on 2 tables sucks a huge amount of rear end.

Implement a queue system that fast tracks you to a seat from anywhere in the casino, please.
Pretty please. Cherries, etc.
Or more free tables. Convert the 3 ring tables to FDP. Anything. Implement an all in rule. Dont care. Fed up of years of seeing two players check-checking blinds.

RE: Poker/Free daily poker - Fredswar1 - 01-14-2024

I think a queue system for the poker tables would be very nice. I remember just a few days ago how I spent 10mins waiting for a spot at the table just for someone else to take it before I could join.

An all in or max bet rule would be interesting. How would it work though?

No that would be terrible and unrealistic.
My opinion.

An all-in or max bet rule? LOL

What next? A quota on the number of hands one can win during a poker game?

As much as I hate bingo poker I try to avoid the donkey players, that's it.

It's called poker...

Life's rough... some really ought to toughen up a bit.

Part of what makes poker great is how intense and high stakes it can be. I can see how implementing an all in or max bet rule could detract from that. That's why I asked OP how they see the rule they suggested playing out.

Try to avoid the slippery slope fallacy if you can help it.

Its just the annoyance, as i said in my post seeing 2 players heads up checking the blinds while all the thousands gathered and millions watching around the world wait for a sniff at getting a seat. If the prize of winning FDP was 25k, i get the need to win, but get to vip and check in for a few days gets you the measly 5k on offer.  So i stick by my point, all in stops the check-checking of blinds during heads up FDP

I understand. Thanks for clarifying.

RE: Poker/Free daily poker - ANUB1S - 01-28-2024

Or perchance just eliminate the Play Free Daily Poker task altogether. It's way more trouble than it's worth.

RE: Poker/Free daily poker - AKillerFawn - 01-28-2024

I'm not an "all in cowgirl" by any stretch of the imagination. I find it very annoying in high rollers when someone comes in and just yee haws every hand with an all in before the flop. But that's because it's basically $5 a game up there.

I all in my free daily poker just to be done with it. You have to finish first and you only get 5K chips. I spend 12k in one slot pull, so I just all in on a garbage hand to be done with it.

I agree with Anub1s, maybe it's time to just ditch the free poker task.
