Is anyone at all taking a look at the subject problem?
My PS4 is connected to a router with an 800mbps Internet connection, via ethernet (NOT wireless). When I run PS4 connection tests, on average a 600mbps speed is detected. That said, the issue certainly isn't on my end.
I see people getting "ghosted" everywhere lately, especially in VIP tournament poker, the worst possible place it can occur. Of course I'd like to continue tiering up there, but I'm actually afraid to get into a game anymore due to disconnects. When I attempt to reconnect at the entry screen, 4K reports it's taking me back to my game, but very rarely does. Instead, after a long wait I appear back at the VIP entrance and am then randomly transported elsewhere, without even touching my controller. The only "solution" I've found is to completely exit the app, then restart it praying I get a stable connection to your servers. Sometimes I get lucky in that respect, sometimes not.
On one occasion, I was playing the WoF slot in VIP at max bet (8K a spin) and got into a bonus round. During bonus spin #2, I had already won over 50K with the round still ongoing and 6 spins remaining. I was then disconnected and lost all of those chips, along with the remaining ones I had committed to autoplay. Needless to say, that sort of thing gets pretty damned expensive after a while.
Out of all the MMO games I play, 4K is the one and only I ever experience this with. With all the money you guys make on this game, I would think you could afford Internet connections for your servers that can support the load placed upon them without constantly booting players. It's getting beyond ridiculous and as much as I love the game, I'm at the point of giving it up completely because of this issue and the chip losses that always come along with it.
P. S. I've reported this in-game many times. Rarely, I get a refund that doesn't even cover my losses, but typically I never hear anything back at all.
Was just disconnected for the 3rd time in two hours a couple of minutes ago, even after completely restarting my router and PS4... Once playing BJ, once on Baccarat, and the latest waiting to get on a poker table. Good thing I didn't make in onto the latter, eh?
