Your opinion: What's the silliest daily task?
"Run 500 yards" gets my vote.

Visit every room in the casino or use every chip station is very annoying

I like free chips.
Lose to a dealer blackjack sucks. Also how do I delete a reply on the copycat thread of this thread? I saw the stupid bot posts at the top before I saw this, could those be deleted please? And is there any way you report the account that posted the copycat threads? ![]()

The worst I've seen lately is a weekly task to gain 500RP playing War. I was betting $2K/hand (max bet) and winning far more than losing, and it still took me over an hour to get there.
At the same time, I also saw a bunch of players betting $100/hand. At that rate, you'll likely be worm food before you ever reach 500.

I'd be happy if I never saw that one again.

Frankly, I'll be happy if I never have to split aces ever again

Actually, Aces and Eights are the best cards to split in Blackjack.

Yes muffster, they are. It just *seems* like youll get aces more regularly when the task isnt active.
If it is a task, try find a dead table, min bet and hit nothing, it wastes cards and accept the losses. Theres 24 aces per shoe so if it seems like a few have gone through, stand up and rejoin. Thats why its best to have a table to yourself

Sometimes I'll complete that task in just a few hands, and other times it takes a while. What you describe is exactly how I handle it, but how many hands required to complete it seems totally random to me (as it should be). I wasn't aware that leaving and rejoining resets the shoe, so that may explain it.
BTW, you're spot-on about the shoe capacity. I actually send email to 4KC tech support to inquire about this a while back, here's the response: "All Blackjack tables except for the specially-labelled Single Deck Blackjack tables available in VIP and High Rollers areas use a shoe of 6 decks." |
