Why does it not award more bonus spins when in the bonus free play. I had 3 bonus symbols drop in bonus round and then the either surf or sled comes down with the wilds and erase one of the three bonus symbols. So I guess I need 4 or just be lucky and it won't hit one of them. Because I have been awarded more spins if the wilds miss the bonus symbols.
Would this be the same scenario if I hit the progressive jackpot during bonus spins and it doesn't award anything because the spin isn't over till the wilds are down.

One time about 2 years ago, i got 2 extra bonus spins, while in Progressive jackpot bonus spins. I told my best fiend at the time. So yeah it is possible

If memory serves, if you’re in the middle of a bonus round it will only award additional spins if 3 bonus symbols remain at the end of a given pull. When you think about it, that’s basically the same behavior as any other symbol being “erased”, including Wilds.

That in mind, hitting the progressive jackpot during a bonus round is a complete impossibility, since you need 5 of whatever the Prog symbols happen to be and the maximum that can remain is 4.
