Crossplay

I know this thread is a bit old, but I’m curious if anyone here has tried playing with friends on different systems recently. Have there been any updates or workarounds that helped? I’ve seen a few games add crossplay over time, so I’m wondering if Digital Leisure has mentioned anything new or if players have found their own solutions.
