DLC packs

What’s the difference between the “150,000 Chip Pack” and the “Double Down Starter Pack”? They’re the same price and both contain 150K in chips, but the DDSP includes a couple of extras (Founders Jacket, Double Down Badge, maybe more).

I must be missing something. Why would anyone buy the former, when the latter comes with more stuff?

The starter packs are one-time purchases that should appear in the in-game chip store instead of the respective 150,000 or 400,000 packs. The extra items like clothing can't be obtained twice so after you've purchased them, they're replaced with the standard chip packs.

Ah, that makes perfect sense... Between these two, it’s best to buy the DDSP first to get the extra items and the 150,000 chip pack second (if needed). After that, if other packs are purchased which contain items you already own, you get everything in those packs except for those items.
