What are your War experiences?
So first of all, I’ve been loving this game since I started playing it a few weeks ago. Already nearly 100 hours in, at VIP2 and was not expecting to be this hooked when I decided I’d download this random free to play casino game off the Xbox store lol.
I do have a few gripes though. And the biggest one I must say is that I’m not buying some of these games are, as many of the responses from DL say here, modelled as closely as possible to a real casino. I had previously been using War as a method of grinding RP, because I figured it’s a low risk due to there being such a low house edge, I mean it’s 50/50 bar when you go to war. Why is it then, that pretty much every time I sit to play war, Im about 10 hands down in a matter of minutes? Not exaggerating when I say that I struggle to even get a 3 hand winning streak, whereas losing about 10 in a row seems to be a regular occurrence.
At first I thought it’s just how it is, the game is about luck and sometimes you’re going to win some, sometimes lose some. But having played War enough now I’m not buying it, there is no way this is not rigged against the player. I’ve lost an absolute ton of chips to this game, managing to make a profit off it maybe once or twice. That’s not due to me playing on when I’m up, I genuinely just never get up on the house, I’m constantly chasing to get back even.
I was curious as to how others have fared, or whether this is just me and I really am somehow that unlucky. I know DL will probably come in with the same copy and paste response I’ve seen them use any time someone questions the actual odds in some of these games, but until they are actually transparent about this and publish the odds like games such as GTA Online do, I am having a hard time believing it’s modelled after a real casino, and am definitely going to be less likely to ever purchase chips with real money on this game if it’s simply designed to bleed you dry.

I have also had this horrible experience myself like each time I join a war table. It’s worse in high rollers lol
May i ask.., are you betting the exact same amount every round?
I find War to a fair game, not rigged et all. Its one of the better games to make both chips and RP.
Don't forget you are in a casino and you are gambling. IE you take your chances. I have been to real casinos and the odds are never ever going to be in your favor. If i the odds favored you, the casino would go broke after a few days and be forced to close right?
War and BJ are basically the same game, cept that your odds are better with BJ.
With war, your advantage comes with the tie. Before you even go to war, you can win huge, I have many times.
I suggest change your bet every round, you might get lucky, lose low & win big. Go with your gut.
Change seating positions, outfit, leave and come back. And never bet the max and to win with a tie, don't bet every-time on it.
Hope this helps

I definitely agree with changing seats, I do that all the time.
I've said it numerous times, I'll say it again: "Rigged" is a word that is exclusively used by sore losers who come to a casino expecting to win. All conspiracy theories come from people who have no idea how something works. All casino games have a built-in house advantage which can be overcome by knowing how to play them properly. I know all casino advertisements show people winning, and that it seems natural to expect to win based on that, but that is the wrong attitude to have in a casino. The right attitude to have in a casino is TO HAVE FUN and to enjoy a challenge, NOT to expect to win. Are we clear about that?

OK so I just played 100 hands of war in High Rollers room betting 40k max bet every hand. I didn't place any on the tie just all 40k on the main
I stayed in one seat and did it in one sitting.
I broke it down to 5 groups of 20 hand, easier for me to not get mixed up. OK here are the results.
Hands 1 through 20: Me 11 wins, Dealer 9 wins. 2 wars, I won 1 and dealer won 1.
Hands 21 through 40: Me 10 wins, Dealer 10 wins. 0 wars
Hands 41 through 60: Me 7 wins, Dealer 13 wins. 2 wars, I won 1 and dealer won 1.
Hands 61 through 80: Me 12 wins, Dealer 8 wins. 2 wars, I won 2 and dealer won 0.
Hands 81 through 100: Me 8 wins, Dealer 12 wins. 2 wars, I won 1 and dealer won 1.
All in all I say I did great since I was mostly playing for War leaderboard points.

I never ever bet max on War, 38K is my max. I find betting max in war is asking for punishment.
Not going to criticize your playing style, but i have watched others play with the one bet strategy and the house will always win.
I figure that your odds are around 70% house 30% player.
Why lose a max bet? Chips are not cheap. You already know the odds on any of these games is not in your favour.
A low bet for 70% of the time 5 to 15K. Then after a few loses move your bet higher until you win, repeat,
The same goes with BJ. Set an amount you are willing to lose and a good objective number you want to win.
Every once in while bet on the tie 15K, and higher number on the win.

Hi all!!!
I just debuted on the forums, so I'm kind of new to this platform. Glad to meet all of you and happy to share my gambling experience...
I've played classic casino games like slot machines, roulette and blackjack, but most of all I'm a slots fan. I'm here to learn more about online casinos. Any help, tips, thanks!
If you think war is tough, hit 40k a hand at baccarat
Baccarat is blackjack for intelligent people
