Playing members in the same IP (Household).

This has probably already been asked or questioned. But it's really irritating when you can't play with the people in your household. I don't get the point of putting a block on it. I can play every other game with them, but for Poker. PSH would allow it, but 4 kings won't? I know it's probably to prevent cheater's, blah, blah, blah. But to be honest....There are people who chip dump their friends CONSTANTLY.....Especially now a day's. I just witness this just yesterday (And since I've joined back in April.) of couple group's of players chip dumping their friend because they're low on chips. It's not a secret, and they publicly do it. Which brings to the attention, why even have the feature? It's kind of pathetic option to begin with.

It should be the choice of the player if someone want's to waste their chips on their friend and/or someone in the same household, that's their business. You shouldn't put a block on their IP just to have "prevent" cheaters, and those who generally want to play a fun Poker game with someone in the same household. Especially when their's cheater's and chip dumper's on REGULAR basis...to begin with. I don't know how many times I've wasted games on player's who are playing with a group of friends chip dumping their friend....Just to be clear...if the only reason you guys are doing it to prevent "cheating".. then in all honesty, friends shouldn't be playing on the same table as their friends. Because it would be the same concept.. Especially when you can Party chat and just to tell them your cards. So I mean, I don't see the difference. Would be nice to have that feature removed. Probably won't do any good, but it's just a thought. wink "shrugs"

As much as we hope that our players will respect the rules of the game we recognize there are a small portion of players who do not. We do what we can to prevent cheating in ranked games. Players who truly want to get around that will find a way no matter what we do, but this is one small thing we can do to discourage that behaviour. We'd ask that if you see an instance of players cheating, you report the player using the in-game reporting system. There is an option there that specifies a report for cheating.

This topic gets brought up once in a while, but so far the overwhelming consensus has been that players prefer we leave that feature in.

Thank you for your insight. I've reported many cheater's and chip dumper's, but you can only report 5. So it's hard getting them all. lol But it would be nice to get that removed. If anything make a room where you can play with members in the same household, as well with other's. smile

As Courtney said: it's hard to stop cheaters, even because with a simple Party with some Friends it's really easy to cheat.
But remember that preventing peoples with the same IP from play together is a "necessary evil", in this direction.

But as You do, I do: report.
Report all the cheaters and in the end, after they'll be removed, the Casino will be cleaner.
