I think 2 global leaderboards will be fair 1 for VIPs and 1 for  lobby players .

Not everyone wants 2 lose their chips so quick nor are willing to pay 4 chips ...

I didn't start paying for chips until months into my 4K experience. Almost every month I was able to make it to VIP one at least. How would the leaderboard for people who aren't VIP one work? You realize that people would very carefully get their RP up until they are one point away from being VIP one, and then not play for a jacket? There would be a tie between a thousand people.

It's just a jacket for your avatar. It's the same thing as the jackpot prizes you get when you pay for chips (like the vampire costume they're giving out this month) if you want it, you're just going to have to buy chips or be really good at the game.
