why keep screwing things up? year 1 was fine, why add so many bugs?

year 1 was fine, have little problems which are still there and i've reported many times and still nothing done about them.
why keep screwing things up? year 2 has had so many bugs added its not funny. the latest had added so much lag its down to about 2fps and completely unplayable.
year 1 never had this much lag. it all started in year 2.
all i wanted was the chat box to remember i closed it and never auto open like it does every time i load up the game. i have all notifications off and i never use the chat box so i want it always closed.
thats what ive always wanted and its still opening everytime i load up the game.

will you ever add the option to keep the chat box closed?
will you remove the complete unplayable lag like it had in year 1?

and while im here, the new map system completely sucks. i cant find how to go back to the lobby anymore so i never leave now. just too confusing.

I'll have to agree the new map "looks" nice but the ease of use was destroyed.  What you actually have to do to fast travel is select the map tab using R1 or L1 (depending where you are in the tabs) and then hit X.  This will highlight either Level 1 or Level 2.  Then hit X again.  Then you can use the joystick to highlight the word of the area/game you want to go to and then hit X again.  This will allow you to fast travel.

Now the old way by simply moving the cursor over the game/area you wanted to go to and hit X was MUCH easier.  Who would want to fast travel to Level 2?  Unless there will be a bigger upstairs sometime.

Now, if you want to fast travel to a friend, well that's a huge pain as you can't just go to the friends tab and then select the friend and go to them.   You have to go to a different tab and move the joystick up to highlight one of the tabs, then move to friends tab, then you can move the highlight into the friends list and select the friend.  There is obviously some usability issues with the new system and I'm not sure it was implemented quite as well as it was designed.

We're always looking to improve the usability and I believe you raise some valid points.  Our first goal is to get the new UI implemented.  We'll take another look at improving usability in future updates.

"Our first goal is to get the new UI implemented." shouldn't your first goal is to keep the gamers happy? if they cant play it they stop and most likely wont come back. with the current framerate making it unplayable my suggestion is to abandon all the year 2 crap, restore year 1 game as that worked fine. make it playable again and user friendly then when its all working then start adding crap. bowling? really? crap. not needed in a casino game. i would prefer smoother gameplay over bowling anyday.

i play daily and have since day one. im about to stop and delete it as it gets worse with every update.

why screw up something that worked? should've left it alone. the map for one example. the gameplay for another. year one had smooth framerate, now its unplayable.

as i highly doubt you'll ever listen to me i might as well delete it now and go elsewhere. as i said with every update it gets worse. over the last month it has started crashing before even getting to start. some days i dont even get to the "press X to start" screen as itll crash before then.

this reminds me or Warframe. that was an awesome game in year 1. year 2 changed things and its been crap ever since. year 3 is wtf? this is the same. year 1 was great, year 2 added so many bugs and annoyances and year 3 will be unplayable and full of crap.

since year 1 ive asked for the chat box to remember its position, for me that would be always closed and youve never added that option. i said about 5 bugs and they are all still there. youve added heaps more bugs and a lot of extra crap like the moon location and bowling but kept the bugs we reported in year 1. as you dont listen to us the gamers nad only interested in the money you can make by adding paid crap i doubt i'll have any impact in fixing the bugs ive reported so im going to stop and just delete the game.

it was fun in year 1, annoying in year 2, going to delete it so i wont have to see the abuse it gets in year 3. you had a great game but got too greedy. easy as that. if you stop thinking about money and started thinking of gameplay and getting more gamers playing your game then listen to us, fix the bugs, remove crap and make it playable again.

im out of here.

they happily charge lots of money for chips and clothes and crap but what you can buy with your accumulated RP? Over 1 million RP just sat there cause ive bought everything available last year hasnt been any new stuff added for Rp in over a year.
Then they make the game unplayable and say dont worry give us time to fix it, well time is money and you aint gettin any more of mine. VIP status extended for a month or 2 for free for the messup? Tournaments, tasks, poker, everything is unplayable. waste of time, just like all the developers on the PS4 LAZY F'N developing, it aint about enjoyble games for players anymore its all about money nothing more, and when that happens creativity and fun go right out the window

Perhaps instead of trying to fix the new UI system, how about revert back to the old UI system that actually worked back in December.  Before the January 2017 update, I didn't experience lag.  I didn't experience this may disconnection problems that I had always known to be network errors, we didn't have problems with NPC's etc etc.  Since the January 2017 update, everything has been a nightmare.

I dont believe im not the only one with all the problems. Good to see others are also seeing what i see.
Now the game is complete crap. I still get on daily just for the bonus chips and the daily spin. I got lots of credit now but as the rest of the game is screwed up and the lag is so bad its a nightmare to go anywhere else but the steps from the main door to the daily spin slots.

As they dont care about us but their own wallets i doubt we'll see any updates to fix the bugs they brought since january.
Fixing bugs doesnt make them money so why would they fix them? Maybe without the bugs more of us would play it and enjoy it and actually start to buy things. I did enjoy bingo last year, i was going to purchase a few things in january but that poor update changed my mind. Now the fact its mid april and none of the bugs are fixed but they are getting worse these is no way i will ever buy anything now.
And with today, the network error everyone is getting we cant even get into the game and you think its our fault? Are you morons? How can so many people have the same problem at the same time and it be our problem? Its your faulty servers thats the problem. Its your faulty updates that cause the problem. We are the victims here, victims of a scam. You make a good game in year one then year 2 change things around so the scam starts to show and year 3 its now obvious its a scam.

If you left it alone in year 1 you wouldve made lots of real money from me. I hated the changes you did in year 2 and now year 3 is a nightmare. Its so buggy it only loads up maybe 1 out of every 7 times i load it. Yea, once a week it will load the game. 6x a week i have to exit, close the game and try again. Some times it takes 3 or 4 goes to eventually get into the game.
Then the lag is so bad it can drop to about 1fps. Usually its around 5 to 10 fps. Nothing like the 30fps of year 1.

I think my last post said it all. This is just confirmation thqt after todays network errors and nkt being about to connect anymore ive finally deleted it and not going to bother with this crap scam again.
There are other better poker games on the ps4 and tons more on the PC so absolutely no need for this buggy crap anymore.

I will end with what the game says to me. SCREW YOU.
Afterall the crap youve done to it thats the message i get from you. Ive been here since the start, i think i was even a beta tester? (Ive tested lots of games and apps and OSs) and when you have an àwesome game and completely screw it up for money its just you guys saying screw you to us long time players. We made this game for you, without us the game wouldve flopped from the start. Well, you screwed it up and now its flopped all on its own. You did it, you kill it yourselves with your greed.
So , from me to you SCREW YOU!

We did have a server outage overnight -- apologies.  We will have an update over the next week or two and it should add more stability.  We are continually working on optimizations but it is a slow process.  We did have some steps backwards on the last update as we try new optimizations and sometimes they don't work out so well.

The lag should be much less now than it was in previous versions.

Well one thing will seem to work in your favor.  Less people = less lag.  Haven't played it since the last update.  Will try it again only after people have said it's stable.

I wish you luck.

I'm going to go ahead and call the OP's bluff.  I took over a year off and just came back recently.  I noticed the bad lag when I first started, but the games themselves don't lag for me.  It's mainly traveling around that lags, along with other players' images taking a while to load in.  Just because you (or I) don't use the casino for social purposes, that doesn't mean bowling, as well as the club, is a waste.  If people populate the areas, it certainly isn't a lost space.  It brings in a different crowd, just as having a wide variety of games brings in different people.  As for the issues with it failing to load,, it happens, but not nearly as frequently as you exaggerate.  I'd say at most, 10% of the time it fails to load at least for me.  If it happens every 6 out of 7 times then the issue is probably on your end.  The disconnects are a pain, especially when playing poker, but the refund system works great and I always get my chips back. I think we can all agree that re-working the menu was a terrible idea.  Maybe it could have been improved, but certainly this was a downgrade in user-friendliness.
