That's really weird. Using a VPN, if anything I'd expect your connection to actually be *slower*, since you're passing through additional servers to get to your destination (those that make up the VPN itself).

Like many other players, since the last update I've been experiencing random disconnects all the time, along with the chip losses they bring on a regular basis.

Check my network configuration:

- 800 Mbps connection (cable)
- DOCSIS 3.1 router
- PS4 hard-wired to router (Ethernet)

It flies, and I've not had issues like this with any other MMO game that I play.

Given all that, the problem certainly isn't on my end.

In my opinion, it points to a lack of bandwidth for the Digital Leisure servers and/or their computing power. With the game's user base constantly growing along with updates which add more code, not taking those things into consideration is completely ludicrous.

Worst of all, apparently no one on the DL end can be bothered to look into it. I've reported the problem both here and in-game multiple times, with no response.

I just can't wait until the next update. Mark my words: Unless they address those issues in advance, things can only get worse.
